Lorraine Beaman is an expert at converting interview opportunities into job offers. She has guided new graduates through interview preparation, salary negotiation, and adapting to a new job. As a School to Career Coordinator, Director of Career Services for a regional business college, and in her private practice, Lorraine assisted new graduates secure positions with large and small businesses, non-profit organizations, and federal, state, and local governmental agencies.

Committed to bringing the most innovative, job search strategies to students and graduates, she maintains active memberships in National Association of Colleges and Employers, Career Thought Leaders, Career Directors International, and The National Resume Writers Association. She contributed to 2010, 2011, and 2015 whitepapers, “Trends for the Now, the New & the Next in Careers,” published by Career Thought Leaders, has written articles for the Career Development Network Journal, and is a guest blogger for Career Directors International.

Lorraine holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree from California State University, Chico. She is a Master Career Director (MCD) and Certified Employment Interview Consultant (CEIC).
